Glossary
This glossary explains common terms as they are used in Volv Analytics and in this documentation. Exact behavior can vary based on your integrations, source data quality, and workspace configuration.
Attribution
The process Volv uses to connect outcomes such as meetings, calls, and payments to earlier marketing or sales activity based on the rules and records available in your workspace.
Closer
A team member responsible for managing opportunities and closing deals.
Correlation
The matching process Volv uses to relate records from different systems—such as CRM, call, calendar, and payment data—so they can be analyzed together when the available data supports that connection.
Customer Journey
A contact-level timeline that brings together known interactions and milestones from your connected systems. It is meant to help you review the journey Volv can reconstruct, rather than guarantee that every touchpoint is present.
Lead
A contact or prospect record available in Volv, typically representing a potential customer from your CRM or another synced source.
Opportunity
A sales deal tracked in an integrated CRM or sales system that represents a potential source of revenue.
Setter
A team member typically responsible for initial outreach and booking early-stage meetings or calls with leads.
Sync
The process of importing, refreshing, and updating data from connected platforms such as Close, Zoom, or Stripe in Volv Analytics.
