Account Management

This page covers the parts of Settings that help you manage your own account: profile details, password changes, and multi-factor authentication.

What you can manage

For most users, the account-related areas in Settings are:

  • General for personal dashboard preferences
  • Profile for your account details and editable profile fields
  • Security for password changes and MFA

Some workspaces may also show additional settings tabs based on your permissions, but those admin workflows are outside the scope of this page.

General settings

The General tab includes personal dashboard preferences such as:

  • your default date range
  • default chart metric
  • default calls filter
  • default payments filter
  • theme selection
  • animation preference

These options affect how the application appears and how your dashboard loads by default.

Profile settings

The Profile tab lets you review your account information and update the profile fields that are currently editable.

Account information shown

The page displays:

  • your user ID
  • your current role name and description, if available
  • whether MFA is enabled
  • when your account was created
  • when your profile was last updated

Profile fields you can edit

You can update:

  • Username
  • Email
  • Full Name

There are Save Changes and Cancel actions on the form.

This page does not currently document profile-picture editing, timezone editing, or other profile controls that are not visible in the current settings UI.

Security settings

The Security tab includes both password management and multi-factor authentication.

Change your password

Use the Change Password form to enter:

  • your current password
  • a new password
  • confirmation of the new password

The password form requires at least 8 characters and checks for uppercase, lowercase, numeric, and special-character requirements.

Manage multi-factor authentication (MFA)

The MFA section shows whether MFA is active on your account.

If MFA is not enabled, you can start setup from the Enable MFA action.

If MFA is enabled, you can:

  • view how many backup codes remain
  • regenerate backup codes
  • copy newly generated backup codes
  • disable MFA

Disabling MFA requires you to confirm with your password.

When you regenerate backup codes, previously unused codes are invalidated, so save the new codes securely.

About roles and admin settings

Your current role is visible on the Profile page, but this guide does not define roles as a simplified fixed set such as "Admin / Manager / Agent." Role names and permissions depend on your workspace configuration.

If your account has elevated permissions, you may also see Users, User Assignments, or Roles tabs in Settings. Those areas support workspace-level administration and are intentionally not covered in this personal account guide.
