Booking Mode
Booking Mode is the public onboarding choice that tells Volv Analytics whether booking and attendance are a real part of your sales process.
Use this guide when you reach the Booking System step in onboarding.
Where this appears in onboarding
In the onboarding wizard, this step appears after Role Assignment and before Reconciliation.
The step heading is Booking System, and it asks:
- Yes, we use a booking system
- No, we don't use a booking system
The helper text in the product gives this context:
- Yes: teams using tools like Calendly, SavvyCal, or HubSpot Meetings and wanting to track booking and show-rate metrics
- No: teams working mostly from outbound calling or ad-hoc meetings without needing formal booking metrics
How to choose
Choose Yes, we use a booking system when scheduled meetings are part of your normal sales workflow and your team wants reporting based on booked meetings and attendance.
Choose No, we don't use a booking system when formal booking data is not a dependable part of how your team works or how you review performance.
What changes in reporting
This choice matters because it affects whether booking-focused reporting is relevant for your workspace.
When Yes matches your process, Volv can show booking-related metrics that are already visible in customer-facing analytics, including:
- Booked Calls
- Setter Booking Rate
- Show Up Rate
These appear as downstream analytics outcomes of having a real booking workflow, alongside your other dashboard metrics.
When No is the better fit, those booking-oriented metrics are not the right lens for understanding team performance.
Practical guidance
- Pick the option that matches how your team actually schedules sales calls today.
- Choose Yes only if your booking data is real, consistent, and worth reporting on.
- If your team mainly books informally, No is usually the more accurate choice.
Scope of this guide
This guide only covers the visible Booking System onboarding step and the customer-facing reporting implications that follow from that choice.
